ADRENALIN: the first time I saw you, you were opening for the Reverend Horton Heat about 6 years ago, and I have you to thank for introducing me to a whole new type of music I wouldn't normally have given the time of day to. Do you find that you have opened the door to folks who wouldn't normally have given you a chance?
III: Maybe a little bit... I mean, ahh I guess so. We've been out there for a while doing it man, and thanks to bands like Melvins and Reverend Horton Heat and a couple of the guys that thought it would be cool having us out there doing our thing, they're the ones that actually helped turn you on to it. We’ve been doing it for a while and doing the Jekyll and Hyde shows, a little bit of country, a little bit of the metal.
ADRENALIN: How were you able to get hooked up with the Rev?
III: Just mainly workin on the road, and hangin out at local shows. Just word of mouth pretty much, and being in the right place at the right time. Once you get out there, you start to make more and

more friends, and then you get invited to hop on for a little bit.
I was always telling my booking agents to look at the Reverend Horton Heat's touring schedule and that’s all you have to do if you don't understand what market we want. It took us a long time to get us into those kinds of clubs. Because they were like fuck, we don't want that kind of act, figuring we were like pop country or whatever.
ADRENALIN: Sure. I actually remember at that show there was a couple dressed up in all western outfits, and I saw them with a disgusted look on their faces walking out of your set after about the 2nd song talking amongst each other going "what the hell was that"!
III: Oh yeah
ADRENALIN: We loved it, we loved it. We were all just "hell yeah!” Once I saw Hank III on the bill, we were just kind of like Hmmmmm, what is this all about? Ever since then, I am just like "wow"!
III: Some people get it and some people don't. It is amazing at how sometimes the... how upset some people can get over music.
ADRENALIN: So what was it like growing up? Were you bounced around a lot, or where you able to kind of stick around to one place?
