With a sound that blends the elements of Rock, Metal, Classic Rock, and a style all of their own, Steel Rain is building a reputation as one of the best live acts around. They perform over 150 live indoor or outdoor shows a year. Steel Rain has also opened for several national acts such as Stephen Pearcy, Killer Dwarfs, and Winger. Steel Rain has been featured in clubs throughout the South, Midwest, and the North. Steel Rain has also been the featured band on vh1 .com in December of 2004 with the Trial and Error album. As masters of promotion and press coverage from local news papers to magazines such as Magnet, Xpress and Pit Mag.
In 2002 Steel Rain took over a year to record and master their first release Trial and Error . 2004 Steel Rain signed an exclusive record deal with R.P.M records (Tampa) and distro with Paris Records (Houston, Texas) to release Trial and Error. With Trial and Errors release in September 2004 and sales on the rise . Steel Rain began to write and record their second disk. A New Beginning. It is out now and in Best Buy, Target, Barnes and Noble, Circuit City and Amazon.com..
