Band Bio:
Formed in 2006, and with the "Rock-N-Roll is as visual as it is sonic"
mentality, Bone Shaker is out to bring showmanship back into metal. With the
debut cd titled '13 Ghosts' the band displayed their ability to write
quality metal music while still maintaining the power and edge that makes
metal what it is today. " Fronted by chief songwriter and lead vocalist
David "Gonz" Gonzalez, drummer Brian DeHarde and bassist Camille Gonzalez,
they recorded their 14 song demo cd in the spring of 2006 at Triple Six
Studios. As a result, the band quickly gained momentum and received
accolades from fellow musicians and fans alike. Within three shows the band
found themselves playing venues that seat thousands like The Rave in
Milwaukee. They also opened for national acts such as Metal Church and
Meliah Rage. They have also been featured on compilation cd's alongside
national bands from Ferret Records, Relapse Records, and Trustkill Records.
The secret to Bone Shaker's quick acceptance is the old school flavor
underlying the melodies and the simplicity of the songs. First time
attendees often find themselves singing along, and humming afterwards. In
the spring of 2007, they signed a deal with North America's Turkey Vulture
Records. The band recorded in late Summer of 2007 with producer Jason Z., of
Z's Mobile Recording, at the helm. Their national debut, titled
"Bang,...You're Dead" is their latest cd. (The review of that cd will be
featured in Adrenalinzine soon.) The band has also started getting airplay
in Eau Claire and Oshkosh as well as Pennsylvania and Tennessee. A Florida
t.v. station will be running their video on a new video show called
Riffmania. Nuclear Blast also picked them up for European distro. With a
combined music history of over 60 years, Bone Shaker is sure to be an
unstoppable force in metal!
