Since their inception in March 2005, Repeated Trauma has been intent on bringing their relentless style of death metal to the masses of the extreme metal underground. With the breakup of Perverse Liturgy in February 2005, guitarist Ben Miller and drummer Chris Curry were left searching for a new beginning. Enter vocalist Josh Mathias and bassist Tony Regalia. With the addition of these new members to the lineup, Repeated Trauma has instilled a sound with roots firmly in place with the early years of death metal, but with a modern edge that provides listeners with a fresh sound. Having played shows with local metal heavyweights All Fear Aside, Rictus Grin, Onus and Prey On Hope; along with national acts such as Gorgasm, Putrid Pile and Lividity; no one walks away disappointed, with the band winning new fans at each and every show. Repeated Trauma intends to keep this flame burning by touring extensively and giving their fans an energetic live show that compliments their pummeling brand of music. With plans to enter the studio during the fall of 2006 to record their first full length, Repeated Trauma expects to establish a firm footing in the U.S. metal scene, and beyond. Expect the album to be released in the spring of 2007.
