Lord Chamos, you are the founder and only member... you write, program, engineer, record and play correct?

Correct.


How was your demo "Onward to the Sabbat" recorded?

I used a Fostex eight-track recorder. Analog is preferred, however digital was all that was available.


The guitars really are powerful in the mix, how did you approach the guitar work? What kinds of guitars were used?

I didn’t really have a certain approach; I just write what I like to hear. I used two ESP LTD Vipers on the originals, and a B.C. Rich Ironbird for the Bathory cover.


Internet file sharing has been a hot topic lately, how do you feel about it?

I have no feelings about it.


What drives you?

Hatred, for the way the world has turned out.


When you aren't creating, how do you spend your spare time?

Lately my comrade, Oligarch, from the band Veil, and I have been putting a lot of time into our label: TerrorWolfe Productions.

But when I have free time, watching old horror and science fiction movies, reading, playing guitar, getting out of the city and enjoying nature.

What are you currently listening to?

The new Veles album. Nachtmystium, all releases. Inquisition, all releases. Dom Dracul "Genocide in the name of Satan". Too many others to name…


What was the best live show you have ever experienced?

The Blitzkrieg Festival, in Aurora Illinois last year.

What is next for Born of Witch?

I am currently working on a full length, which will hopefully be finished around February 2005. Also we are in talks with a German Label, about a vinyl re-release of “Onward to the Sabbat”, which may happen this year.
