ADRENALIN: What are some of your influences - music (past/present) and otherwise? AARON: I think all four of us are so different and listen to different things, but what we have in common is our overall love of music. We all need to play music. It’s not just a passing feeling. I personally have thousands of discs, but some of my very favorites vocally are Chino Moreno/Deftones, Tim Williams/Vision of Disorder, Chris Cornell/Soundgarden, Phil Anselmo/Down-Pantera, Jim Morisson/The Doors, Layne Staley/Alice In Chains, Syd Barrett/Pink Floyd, Trent Reznor/nine inch nails, Mike Patton/Faith No More, and Fiona Apple. Lyrically, I actually find Atmosphere and Bright Eyes quite inspirational. GREG F: when I was younger I was really into Metallica and Guns and Roses. In ‘92 I picked up the House of Pain and could not get enough. Pantera, Biohazard, Ozzy, Helmet, Skid Row, Anthrax and Alice In Chains are always in rotation. These days everyone is so good at their instruments and there are soooo many bands it’s great. I hear amazing music all the time! ADRENALIN: Who were/are some of your favorite bands to share the stage with? AARON: Truly too many to mention-don’t want to leave anybody out. All Fear Aside, The Body Thief, Cleobury, Killer Dolphin With Rabies, Erebus, Unnecessary Gunpoint Lecture, Projection People, Buried Future, Dead End Rejects, Daggermouth (Family Skeleton), Snooky, Sky and |
the Execution (R.I.P.), Lords of Discipline, Luna Mortis. We like to play! ADRENALIN: Do you have a favorite venue (so far)?
ADRENALIN: What is it like being a hardcore band from Wisconsin? GREG F: I love Wisconsin! Beer and Cheese!! ADRENALIN: Is there a goal you are trying to accomplish, or a message you are trying to convey with your music? AARON: I want people to get the thrill I get out of hearing something new that really moves me. (ed note: I get the thrill big time!) If our music can be important to someone, that’s amazing. Lyrically, I hope there are enough themes and ideas |
