Interview with Screaming Entombment
June 2011

** Interview conducted by Mike

ADRENALIN: Screaming Entombment is a fairly new death metal band. How are things falling together and how has the band progressed in the past year and a half?

SCREAMING ENTOMBMENT: Things are going very well. We have been forming great contacts/ playing with many great bands. We have been getting many show offers as a result of this. We seem to be on a steady rise to the next level. Helping us in this rise is our ever growing fan base not only in Wisconsin but now spreading to other states.

The band has progressed by becoming tighter in our sound and stage presence. Writing has become more fluent and has evolved since we first started by challenging not only ourselves as players but each other as a whole.

ADRENALIN: Would you describe your music a straight-forward death metal? What are some of the band’s influences?

SCREAMING ENTOMBMENT:  No we really don’t like to be limited by one genre. We are inspired by all forms of metal

ADRENALIN: Who, if anyone, impresses you musically these days?

DUSTY: Pale Grey Sky, Eternal Silence

ERIC: Architects of the Aftermath

TAYLOR: The Parish Jake: Face of Ruin, Idiopath

JAKE: Face of Ruin, Idiopath

ADRENALIN:  A question I seem to ask every band I interview, what is the meaning behind the band’s name?

Screaming EntombmentSCREAMING ENTOMBMENT: Another way of saying buried alive.

ADRENALIN: How has been the feedback been for your E.P., “Become The Suffering” so far?

SCREAMING ENTOMBMENT: It has been very good, we seem to be moving a lot of copies but as always the more the better.

ADRENALIN: Is there a full-length planned for the near future?

SCREAMING ENTOMBMENT: Yes we have started work on pre-production, we would like to write a few more songs before we start the actual disc. At this point it is too early to tell for a release date.
