ADRENALIN: The stamina of this band is amazing, the amount of energy that is conveyed on the "Zen and the art of Total Fucking Destruction" boarders on an almost exhausting listen. In the extreme music scene where speed is no alien, where does Total Fucking Destruction find the inspiration to up the viciousness one more step? RICH: Total fucking destruction is influenced by beer, girls, vodka, weed, methamphetamine and crazy fucked up daily life in the modern day military/entertainment/technology complex. The music and lyrics are our lives, and represent the future/present of the world and the end of human dignity and civilization. Our art is our only possible response to the complicated questions that post-modern society asks of the individual human. ADRENALIN: The second half of CD "Zen and the art of Total Fucking Destruction" messes with my head just a little bit since it is such a sharp change in sound and vibe. Is it supposed to leave the listener just a little disturbed? RICH: We assume the listener is already disturbed by the state of the world we live in and we hope to provide a soundtrack for the slow motion apocalypse that is unfolding before us! ADRENALIN: I love the name of this album, the contrast of the idea of the Zen and "Total Fucking Destruction" is such a contrast. How do you think the title best fits into the music?

RICH: TFD is a very intuitive band: our music, our message, our tour schedule and the way we do business in general is a "zen" procedure. Tfd does not sit down with management and plan out budget and schedules and etc. we get high and party with our friends and fans and make music and try to create a space where likeminded people can come together. ADRENALIN: It hard to notice any direct comparisons in your music to other bands. I believe that your outfit is one of the few out there who is genuinely unique. What was the musical vision of that band upon its conception?RICH: We hate music and musicians. We long for a death-like silence to engulf the planet. ADRENALIN: What is "Mad Pig Disease", and am I in danger of contracting it?
